The Introduction Period of the Pesantren Environment (MPLP) of the Darul Ma’arif Islamic Boarding School in the 2025-2026 school year has been prepared carefully and thoroughly. Starting since Thursday, July 10, 2025, until the end of August, the whole series of MPLP activities was not only an orientation event, but a strong foundation in shaping character, manners, and the spirit of the struggle of new students.

When met on the sidelines of MPLP activities, Ust. Asep Moch. Saepudin, S.Pd., as the implementing coordinator, said that MPLP is not just a formality orientation, but a spiritual and educational momentum which is very important in the formation of new students.

“We design this MPLP to build a deep first impression for the students. Not only introduces the pesantren environment, but also instills the values of manners, discipline, and ukhuwah Basyariah, Wathoniyah and Islamic. Asep.

He added that the success of MPLP is largely determined by the cooperation of all elements of pesantren, ranging from Asatidz Asatidzah, Musyrif/Musyrifah, to senior students who are members of the OPDM.

“This is not the work of one or two people. The spirit of togetherness in MPLP is the initial example of how to live in the pesantren complement each other, educate each other, and strengthen each other,” he concluded.

The activity was opened with MarhabananAsatidz’s introduction and warm remarks from the Pesantren Director. From morning to night, MPLP is filled with various activities such as:

• Dhikr, tahlil, and prayers of the five hours
• Gymnastics and morning jogging for physical health
• Introduction of OPDM Organizational Structure, Kitchen Section, Cleanliness, Health, and Safety
• Tajwid, Makhroj and Fashohah matriculation with the teachers of the Qur’an
• Advice from kyai, musyrifah/musyrifah, and asatidzah
• Class Adab: Starting from Adab to Teachers, Parents, Friends, to Ethics Social Media

All activities are designed to instill value terrorism—The education based on morals, adab, and spirituality. Not only strengthens knowledge, but also foster discipline, simplicity, and love environment.

Santri’s creativity in expression

MPLP is also a place for channeling the creativity of students. They are invited to make yells, participate in sports competitions such as sarong volleyball, mini soccer, and basketball, to prepare Small show As a form of expression of art, culture, and cohesiveness.
